‘Swept Away’ is a performance inspired by Zita, patron saint of domestic workers and lost keys. Through the simple, repetitive gesture of sweeping near sacred spaces, the artist invites viewers to see labor and ritual converge. She tends to public streets by reverently brushing away the detritus of daily life; a moving meditation on seemingly ordinary acts of care and the often-invisible labors that sustain our communities.
