Inside the Diving Bell is a series of twelve collaborative paintings by Anne Emmons, Kiki McGrath and Tim Timmerman. Living in Colorado, Washington DC, and Oregon, each artist began four paintings and mailed them to the next artist who added successive layers of imagery and materials. After three rounds the paintings were deemed finished and the series was named after a line from poet Christian Wiman.
